Libby McHugh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from
Tulane University, New Orleans, LA (Class of 2002) and is a
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. A dedicated professional,
Libby is a graduate of the Schwab Advance LEAD Program (Class of
2022) and has been recognized as a member of the Business
Observers “40 Under 40” Class of 2018.
With a strong commitment to leadership and community involvement, Libby is also a proud
graduate of Leadership Collier™ (Class of 2012) and was part of the inaugural class of Growing
Associates in Naples (GAIN™) through the Leadership Collier Foundation. In addition, Libby is
a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course on Effective Communication & Human Relations,
demonstrating a continuous pursuit of personal and professional growth.
In her professional career, Libby has spent 21 years in the financial industry, beginning at an
independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Wasmer Schroeder & Company, Inc. before
joining Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM) through an acquisition. Most recently
she served as Managing Director of Relationship Management and Service at CSIM,
overseeing the institutional side of the business for three SMA managers that were acquired by
CSIM. Her deep industry knowledge and experience have made her a trusted advisor and
leader.
Drawn to real estate throughout her career, Libby began investing in property three years ago
and recently obtained her Florida real estate license. She is now building a career in real estate,
combining financial expertise with a passion for relationship management, service, property
investment and community development.
Beyond her professional achievements, Libby is a devoted wife and mother of three children,
including twin boys and a daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking,
cooking, and listening to music. The passion she has for community involvement is evident
through her roles as a trustee of the Elaine Marieb Charitable Foundation, as an Advisory Board
Member of the Elaine Marieb College of Health and Human Services at Florida Gulf Coast
University and a board member and Secretary of Empowerment Farm.
