Ryan Swearingen is a seasoned real estate professional with a genuine gift for connecting with people. He takes a relationship-first approach to his practice, getting to know each client personally so he can truly understand — and deliver on — what they're looking for.
Ryan started his career with Keller Williams in 2016, developing a strong foundation and solid skill set as a new agent in the real estate industry. Ryan then started his own brokerage focusing on providing tailored customer service and a boutique style approach to real estate. After a couple of years, Ryan returned to his roots where he continues to deliver impeccable service to his customers at Keller Williams.
Before real estate, Ryan built an entirely different career. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Cal State Los Angeles and a master's in forensic mental health counseling. Originally from Southern California, he spent a decade in New York City running a private practice in Brooklyn and working as a group therapist at a local hospital — honing skills like active listening, guided discovery, and motivational interviewing before eventually settling in Southwest Florida.
That clinical training now shapes how he practices real estate. Ryan listens closely, reads what clients actually need (not just what they say), and pairs that with deep local market knowledge to connect people with the right property or the right buyer. Integrity and loyalty guide everything he does, which shows in the steady, attentive presence he brings to every transaction.
Outside of work, Ryan is happiest at home with his wife and two sons. Between Brazilian jiu-jitsu and life in the Florida sun, he keeps a grounded, grateful outlook — on and off the clock.
